The Canções sobre Deus [Songs about God] were composed for a two or three-part choir, based on a selection of Portuguese language poems that explore the existence of God.

These songs were developed with the Coro de Pequenos Cantores da Paróquia de Gondomar, between 2020 and 2022, culminating in the recording of an album that you can listen to below.

The conductor's scorebook includes suggestions for preparatory improvisation and creation exercises relevant to this work.
